Immersive Experiences
Textures unlock the power of inner transformation.
Textures are a language, a deep coding waiting to be received and decoded. They are speak intimate language that flows and unravels within our bodies, nurtures and heals our inner child.

Why are textures so important?
Sometimes talking about how we feel simply isn’t enough, we might overthink, get stuck in negative thoughts or hold ourselves back, because we don't want to sound stupid.
Drawing on our senses, and building a visual vocabulary of our hopes, fear, dreams, challenges, visions and everything in between, actually unlocks the energy deep within us.
We need to hold and feel our experience through textures to re-imagine a new possibility, and feel a new way forward.

“The texture table was a fantastic embodied way of accessing emotions and feelings; this experience was really memorable. We saw a remarkable change in the students from the beginning of the session to the end, it was really amazing.”
-Creative Direction & Innovation Lecturer, London College of Fashion

What happens in our experiences
In our sessions we bring our awareness to our inner and external world. Our spaces are based on sensing, feeling, exploring and noticing our present moment experience.
We use textures to describe the depth our feelings, emotions, desires, longings, tensions and hardness. Playing with objects and textures opens us to growing our resourcefulness and creative capacity in the face of uncertainty. Improvisation and resonance is a practice that allows us to grow and find solutions that we need.

During our experiences, I invite and support you to:
Ground and reconnect to the Earth
I support you to anchor yourself in the present moment. I may invite you to relax and tense parts of the body. I invite you to notice your breath, feel your feet on the ground and sense into you whole body. I support you to feel, notice and how to cultivate body awareness in and around their body.
Bring a soothing touch
I may invite you explore a soft touch and place your palm onto your heart-space, bring your palms together in namaskar or hug yourself for as long as you need. This supports you to process your emotions and helps you to recognise your boundaries, which can also give you a sense of being safe and held.
Playing and exploring texture constellations
I may invite you to explore your feelings and emotions, through touching, holding, moving and playing with texture constellations. This supports you to see your embodied patterns in the present moment.
Build descriptive language to unlock your emotions
I may invite you to bring in a photographs or objects that make you feel at peace. I ask you to focus on feeling on peace and invite you to describe to deepen whatever you’re experiencing. Some descriptive words maybe: warmth, cold, tingly, fizzing, sharp, numb, dull, ease, spinning, lifting, swirling, or softness.
Visualise a sanctuary
I may invite you to create a safe sanctuary in your mind, by visiting a place when you felt warmth, comfort, supported or happy. Think about the textures, colours, smells. I invite you to call the warmth into your body, from the ground up into your heart space.
Reconnect to your body
I may invite you to notice the rhythm of your breathing and ask you to notice the quality of your breathe. I may ask you to find a place in the body that feels warm, safe, comfortable and good to connect with. I may ask you to notice what you sense within you? What do you notice about the shape of your body? Where do your eyes travel and connect with in the space around you?
